Our Team

Meet our team at Baden Dental Clinic.

Dr. Rick Pereira (Dentist/Owner)

Dr. Rick PereiraI went to the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC where I obtained my BSc in Biology in 1990, my BA in Psychology in 1994, and my DMD (Doctor of Medical Dentistry) in 1997.  Since graduating from Dentistry, I have taken hundreds of hours of continuing education courses to ensure I am able to provide the highest level of service using cutting edge technology.  I have taken several implant and root canal courses.  I am a current member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, Ontario Dental Association, and Waterloo-Wellington Dental Society.

I grew up in the suburbs of Vancouver, BC but moved with my wife to Ontario in 2003.  I have worked predominately in small towns as I enjoy a more relaxed and quieter lifestyle.   I decided after working for many years as an associate dentist that my dream was to open my own office in Baden as my wife grew up in Cambridge, ON and we really wanted to work and live in a smaller community close to Kitchener-Waterloo.  Therefore, in 2007 my wife and I designed and built our dream professional building incorporating some of our favourite architectural features from surrounding buildings in town.  I also wanted to incorporate the latest dental equipment in the office such as digital x-rays, intra-oral cameras, and computers in every operatory.  On Sept 17, 2007 we opened our doors to the community, and I have been grateful for the overwhelming support from the residents of Wilmot Township and surrounding communities.  In return, I have and always will continue to strive to continue to provide the highest level of care for my patients.  I also support local charities and fellow businesses by shopping locally.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Nancy, and my three children, Jessica, Tyler and Nathan.  I live in Baden and my children attend school in town.  I enjoy going fishing, watching NFL football, and downhill skiing with my family.

Dr.Andrew MacDonald (Associate Dentist)

I began my  University career in my hometown of Windsor, Ont where I completed my Honours in Biology in 2009.  Later that year, I had decided to pursue graduate school at Western University in London where I obtained my Masters of SciencDegree in Physiology & Pharmacology in 2011.  After a year working as a sleep technician where I gained experience treating sleep apnea, I had decided to head back to University one last time in 2012  where I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree at Western University in 2016.  I hope to forever remain a student of Dentistry as it is every professional's duty to further their knowledge to provide the best possible care for patients.

Since leaving my hometown of Windsor, I have lived in multiple cities, including London, Kitchener, and finally Woodstock where I currently reside.   I have learned  to embrace the smaller city lifetsyle with my wife and wer are eager to one day shorten our communte to the lovely community of Baden.  I have been wildly fortunate in obtaining an associateship position at Baden Dental Clinic.  The clinic offers state of the art technology, a knowledgeable, welcoming staff, all proff that I am priviledged to be part of the Baden Dental team.

Family is a key aspect of my life and much of my free time includes making trips up or down the 401 to visit family with my wife, Rebecca and our newest addition, Olive, a West Highland Terrier.  My personal hobbies include camping, mountain biking, woodworking (amateur), astronomy, and the ever-elusive gym.

Nancy (Registered Dental Hygienist)

I grew up in Cambridge, ON and attended elementary and high school in Preston, Cambridge.  I went to Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, ON where I obtained my BA in Psychology in 1993, than I obtained an Honours BA in Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC in 1997.  After having twins, I decided to go back to school to obtain my diploma in dental hygiene from Durham College in Oshawa, ON in 2006.  I graduated with honours and was on the Presidential List as well.  I had worked for many years in dentistry assisting my husband, Rick, before attending school to be a hygienist.  I love caring for my patients and helping them to achieve their oral hygiene goals.   I live in Baden with my husband and three children.  I love to downhill ski, running, cycling, and spend time with my family.

Linda (Registered Dental Hygienist)

I have lived in Wilmot Township my entire life. Coming from a farm just outside of town, I have always appreciated the warm feeling of living in small towns. Growing up in the area has allowed me the opportunity to get to know many people. I have previously worked for Wilmot Township as a Lifeguard and swimming Instructor. Caring for people and making them smile is always a highlight in my day. This is why I chose the profession of Dental Hygiene as a career. I graduated from Fanshawe College, for both Level II Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene. In my spare time I enjoy working out, crocheting and spending time with my family and friends. I feel very privileged to be part of such a great team at Baden Dental Clinic.
